joining the faculty of Western Seminary to be focusing on mission to new generations. This will be about exploring the positive examples out there of churches whom seeing new generations part of them and are reversing the negative trends. We will be looking at what are the common practices amongst churches seeing college age and younger people in them. What can we learn from each other? What are the theological issues we must address that people ask today? We will do some regional events and a blog and podcasts as the web site launches sometime mid-year. It is wonderful having Scot McKnight and Amena Brown and other friends in the core planning of this. Too many to mention all of them but include Imago Dei Community, Vintage Faith Church, Dave from Reality San Francisco, John Mark Comer from A Jesus Church, Margaret Feinberg, Mike Erre... I could go on and on. Very thrilled about about this. I am still fully part of Vintage Faith Church and this is something as part of my extending the mission role.
