just a word to the wise. keep in mind folks that the ground is so saturated the roots to your trees are much less stable than normal. perfectly healthy trees can uproot and fall over with no assistance from wind. also the limbs to your trees are full of moisture to the point that they weigh 30 to 40 percent more than usual. in recent days i have worked on healthy trees with no visible problems that have limbs crashing to the ground with no warning. had a client tell me that her 7yr old nephew was nearly hit by a 500lb limb that appeared to fall for no reason. and without warning. thank god no one was hurt. by the time i was done trimming that tree there were no limbs left to threaten any precious childrens lives. i have to admit i think i was a little mad at that tree! luckily it also looks great now! note to self: never trim angerily!!!
