just booked our Vegas vacation!! This is for my race in Utah in March and flying into Vegas proved far more economical. I was able to get a great bundle deal through Expedia for flights for four, a stay in the Luxor that came with a food credit (this will be a surprise for Phalen because he loves the Luxor and I had told him it was too expensive--what do you know but it was on sale this a.m., a blessing given some difficult news this week), and a rental car. Wiped out an entire year of my ebay earnings with a single click of the mouse but it will be worth it to take the family on an unforgettable vacation. The run through Zion National Monument is going to be so, so beautiful. Cannot wait to make some magical memories!! Now I need to go and list a few (well actually a lot of) items on ebay to begin saving for 2015 . . . I am thinking Grand Canyon or Yellowstone :) There are some incredible destination races through this series.
