Breaking up is not the the hard part. The end of a relationship is easy and infinite. The part that hurts, and the part that requires hard work is forgetting those happy memories. The tears comes from the absence of what was. Trying to forgot the past is hard. To forgot those romantic dates and the flowers takes work. To accept the rejection takes strength. And with each unraveling, you have to remember the memory in it’s entirety. You have to pick it apart, trying to recognize what was romance and what was friendship. And after you separate it, you have to get rid of half of it and throw away wasted efforts. You have to dispose those feelings because it’s no longer relevant. You’ll get tired, you’ll be exhausted, you’ll run out of words. It’s hard, isn’t it? #eternalLover
