just got back from spartanburg. first i want to thank those at work who gently relayed a message from cheryl. mom is in the hospital. it does not look good. she either had a stroke, or a uti was so bad she has bacterial all in her body. the main problem is she tripped and fell into the night stand. she laid there at least 24 hours. i have been trying to get in touch with her. but thought she just lost her phone. my plans was to call someone to check in on her. my aunt thankfully was ahead of me. mom is only breathing with a respirator. her blood pressure is way low. some decisions where made. i am going back early tomorrow and see how things go. i know if the only way she can live is the respirator is to have her taken off. we made this decision for dad. it is and will be a hard decision. i have been working hard on some things so she could go to assistance living. i hate that i was not fast enough for that. i hate the fact she was alone for so long. she was alert when they picked her up. she is no where new that now. the doctor told us about an alert test. 3 being worst and 15 us talking. mom is at a 4. hugs and love, i will keep everyone posted as i can.
