just remembered something on cartoon network they have a show called Young Justice and at the beginning it had a Robin but in the second season he became Nightwing therefore the Robin was Dick Grayson and in the second season it also introduced a second Robin which would be Jason Todd now for you batman fans you know him but for everyone else Ill tell you. Jason Todd is the Robin that Joker kills and eventually get revived and becomes a little unstable becoming The Red Hood. So in the series they are going to eventually have to kill off the robin.
