just saw Dave Grohls Sonic Highways episode on HBO. The washington d.c. episode was so great. so cool to see Daryl and Doc from Bad Brains on the show as well as Inner Ear Studios, Minor Threat/Dischord Records and Revolution Summer. Unity with Go Go music scene. So much cool shit and stuff about DIY and bringing people together from different races and backgrounds. Made me feel really inspired and glad I chose a musical, scene building path in my life despite all the many ups and downs/hardships over the years (not to mention getting to make a record with Dr. Know and the APPLEHEAD RECORDING & PRODUCTION guys going on ten years ago now when I was singing for Divest and really purging a lot of personal demons) . Also so glad I dont drink any more. Feeling focused, healthy and thankful for all the people, music and love in my own community of the Hudson Valley,NY State .
