We live in this world just a taking an examination and result will be known at judgement day. Do God care we our questioning. Not at all because God Allah is the Al Mighty. Have you heard Ibn Sina, Al Khawarizmi, Al Kindi etc. The quran says earth is round long before scoentist discovered it. The quran told about human embrio long before scientist discovered it So i would to ask you can science have all the answer for all mankind problem because The Quran can. ======================== - for those who read the post I made on September 13, would have came across this statement i made: - as a matter of fact I believe God DOES exist!!! - now, the difference between me and other God believers is I like the idea of being logical.... i like to think logically and i enjoy understanding something that has a foundation of ration behind it..... believing in something blindly and not questioning it is never my thing.... anyway here my respond to Mohd Rizal Omar.... - - EVOLUTION, The basic.... - the earth was already round the day it was form more than 4.55 Billions years ago...... it is just that nobody knew it was somewhat round until 5200 years ago when the Mesopotamian describe the earths shape being like a disk shape..... although incorrect, but this particular information was important as it marks the earliest human attempt to seek answers about the Earth and progressively learn more about it from that point on.... (take note that this was 5200 years ago, about 3700 years before Prophet Muhammad was born)..... - each mistakes they faced, learnt, improved and faced newer problems, represents the EVOLUTION OF KNOWLEDGE, hence in this case, the true Earths shape was gradually realized by human progressive achievement through time.... - yes, apart from humans, knowledge or information also evolves.... - take note that God did not start to give every human a brain starting from the time Prophet Muhammad was born.... humans already have a brain the moment they began to exist..... apart from humans many other animals also have brains.... the human civilization (according to religion) dates back 7000 years, hence many knowledge of earth, stars, nature etc in aspects of development and destruction begin to take shape as human progressively learn to understand the world around them...... those knowledge may not be profound compare to the knowledge of today, but it indeed marks a significant early point of critical thinking by humans....... - we humans, have to understand that each generation of knowledge, whether it began yesterday or the day before, is used as platform to grow knowledge of tomorrow..... in other words, as human civilization continue to flourish more knowledge will be uncovered and each one will be used as STEPPING STONES to uncover more new information in the future (this is particularly evident when The Quran was revealed 1382 years ago as opposed to 7000 years)..... take note that God did not create Muhammad 1st.... Prophet Adam was the 1st and between Adam and Muhammad there were not only 25 or 124 prophets but thousands more but un-named.... - knowledge evolves with human curiosity so we can use information not only to seek new frontiers but to help us better adapt to the ever changing of our environment.... in the next billions years the sun will run out of fuel.... the size of earth will expand due to continual volcanic activity trigger by the earths core.... the surface area of the ocean will expand and the continents will drift further apart from each other..... as expansion continue the ocean water will then sip through the ground and buried beneath the earth layers.... this is proven by science from the reality of earths tectonic movements..... God did not make earth to stand still.... environmental changes effect the earths ecosystem and animals ability to hunt, live and reproduce.... as long as this process of change continues, ALL living things on earth will evolve to such change and continue reproducing new lives.... - we have to understand the geological history of earth.... earth was not what it used to be billions of years ago.... the reason why earth become what it is today is exactly because of EVOLUTION..... even a piece of rock will evolve and eventually turns to dust through series of reaction process with the chemical nature of earth..... this process may take a billion years but the rock will definitely change.... - QUESTION: coming back to the discussion of earth being round..... lets observe the possibility that humans learn through time and effort...... now that we have established the fact that knowledge evolves in such that each point of new knowledge (or information) serves as a platform for finding newer knowledge, what does it tell us???..... - ANSWER: it tells us we will never stop looking for answers..... which is why it is important that we begin by understanding how human took knowledge from 7000 years ago, improve it, reshape it and pass down from one civilization after another..... in other words, how does information evolves from the earliest point to the current point of human existence????.... the answer is simple..... we humans ALWAYS learn progressively by improving upon what we learnt in the past..... no humans were born to speak and walk at the same day........ Prophet Muhammad did not appear out of no where... he had parents too..... take note this is taking into account of Adam being the 1st prophet and passing knowledge through his children and the generation of his children and so on and so forth..... thanks to them, today we are able to build tools & machines which are far more sophisticated than tools of the past i.e bows and arrows..... today we can even live in space as this is evident with scientists who are currently living on board of the International Space Station..... we also have submarines which are capable of staying under water indefinitely provided enough food is supplied for the crews........our thinking and comprehension ability have taken centuries to develop due to the basic knowledge given to us by our ancestors.... - QUESTON: why is there is no scriptures written by Adam since he was the first prophet.... why is there no record of his life on earth but tall tales by The Bible and The Quran..... nevermind!!.... given that Adams exist in the hypothetical world, how did his knowledge passed down from generations to generations without a single evidence found????..... - ANSWER: today science has proven that NOT ALL information require to be written and physically handed down..... in fact every human cell carries a certain amount of information about the host...... i.e sperms and eggs cells combine provide an instrument of knowledge from the host to identify the relationship between the baby and the parents..... these cells carrying DNA contain information of the hosts physical structure and other information, i.e intelligence..... this is evident in the basic instinct of animals especially the fact that they are able to innately respond to their environment the moment they are born - is the result of their genes from their parents.... given enough time, nutrition and training, this natural instinct will eventually serve as valuable platform for the animals to excel upon what they already know..... - if you read my previous forum i have established the fact that human intelligence not only is determined by external learnings but also by genetic contribution from our human ancestors who lived thousands or perhaps millions of years before us..... - today, most ppl will say our intelligence is a combination of what we knew and learnt i.e our skills and ability to understand and reason etc..... but that is just part of the story, not all of it....... as human civilisation continue to flourish we will continue to become smarter and more adaptive to our environment.... - according to neuroscientists, more than 40% of our intellectual capability and IQ comes from the genes of our parents but again, they have to be triggered by other factors such as food, environmental and sociocultural influences...... - hence when the Quran reveal the shape of earth in the 7th century, (as i read) i was not amazed as it was still incorrect unless it shows the facts and figures in discrete measurements..... - The Quran 39:5 ==== And the earth, moreover, hath He made egg shape ==== - take note that it did not say like an Egg or look similar to an egg.... it literally says the shape of earth is an egg shape.... which is far from accurate or rather incorrect as we know from factuality point of view.... yet it doesnt matter because it show humans understanding of the earth reaches at that point during that time..... - The Quran did not tell a lie but it also did not tell the complete truth either... - -
