latest Tipadvisor Review... Came here a few years ago when the White Swan was a pleasant enough pub, but was becoming seriously dated. Its great to see that somebody has realised its potential and invested the money it needed. I love the new layout which now has a new Dining Room and thankfully, they now have new toilets downstairs. We booked a table a few weeks before Christmas quite early at about 6pm. We were the first in, but both the Restaurant and bar filled quickly. It seemed to attract an older crowd, mostly 50s+. The staff were exceptional - friendly, pleasant and professional just what youd expect. We sat in the dining area which has lovely furnishings. Just a shame it looked quite clinical but I think thats down to the very pale decor. For starter I had the chicken and chorizo skewer, followed by the fish and risotto, both superb. Great place for a family meal and will be lovely in summer when you can sit outside the back. Will return! Dined with us recently too?
