let me take this opportunity to thank all the mathira constituents for their support and faith in me thus far. As I promised during the campaign period,infrastructure is one of my highly listed priorities and in light of that,I wish to state that I am fully aware of the poor condition of the DN KUGURU ROAD,dabbed "hospital rd". efforts of having the road recarpeted have continuously been frustrated by the fact that the road was initially part of a contract taken up by kirinyaga construction Company. Continuous efforts of acquisition of documents that confirm release of the road from the contract,have continuously been stalled by the other party thus literally tying my hands behind my back. I thereby state that if in 2 weeks time,no positive progress will have been made,I intend to come up with a temporary solution of having the stretch dug up,gravelled and compacted as we wait for a lasting solution. I believe this attempt will improve efficiency and effectiveness while accessing the social amenities that are connected to that road. thanks and God bless you.
