#lifelesson God will give you eyes to see and recognize things that were only shared to irritate you. Dont be distracted. Keep doing what youre called to do. That was my story this morning and The Lord reminded me of something that happened last April when I was moving. There was a beheaded snake on my front dead, unwatered lawn lying in the shadow of my street light. I was frightened when I saw it, but God spoke to me and said the lawn dried up so you could see what lurking in your yard. The light represented the fact that he causes the sun to shine on the just and the unjust and that although some lived in the shadow of the light they cant change their serpent-like nature. Dont be worried when serpents slither their way through your friends and family. REMEMBER: Jesus said, “I know. I saw Satan fall, a bolt of lightning out of the sky. See what I’ve given you? ***Safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions, and protection from every assault of the Enemy. No one can put a hand on you. All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God’s authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you—that’s the agenda for rejoicing.” (Luke 10:18-20 MSG) The serpent was beheaded and The Lord reminded me that at Calvary he had already bruised the head of the serpent - I have the victory and that there is no need to be concerned about a DEFEATED foe. Therefore I will not be worried or distraught for the comforter has and brought this to my remembrance. But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. ***And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. ***Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] (John 14:26, 27 AMP)
