Vancouver Wooden Boat Festival Granville Island, Vancouver, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Afloat and ashore, there’ll be an exhibition of wooden boats, displays, hands-on boatbuilding and demonstrations including knot tying and marlinspike seamanship. Food Cart Fest Vancouver Food Cart Fest, Vancouver, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm The biggest food event of the summer is back! Food Cart Fest takes place every Sunday from June 22 to August 31 from noon to 5 p.m. Go Topless Day Vancouver Vancouver, Vancouver, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm This year marks the 7th anniversary of Go Topless Day and on Sunday, August 24, people in cities around the world (including Vancouver) are invited to stand up for women’s right to go topless in public.
