I knw dat some people would rather read newspaper, magazines or novels dan their Bibles. Other dust their Bibles only on sunday mornin, after theyve spend their whole week watchin movies and soap operas on television. How sad! I pray dat Gods children would realized dat it contain the principles 4 livin a successful and glorious life. As a child of God, its very important dat you make out time 2 read and study the Bible. Were living in a fast-space world with many distractions; conseqently, you have 2 make an effort 2 creat the time 2 study your BIBLE. When i say you shuld study your Bible, Im actually sayin you should do more dans speed-readin. The word study means to give careful consideration to. it also means to consider in detail and subject 2 an analysis in order 2 discover essential features or meaning. in otherwords, there should be some serious mental effort involved. Dat means youll need a notepad and a pen 2 take notes. Your Bibles study time shouldnt b share with any other activity becoz its 2 important. When Im studyin my Bible, I give it all my attention. Thats the way Ive been 4 serveral years. If you want 2 knw Gods word beyond mere theology, you have 2 put yourself into study; give it ur attention, with the guidence of the Holy spirit. Commit yourself 2 the word of God 2day and ask the Holy spirit 2 reveal 2 you more of the living christ.
