mama question: Do you mind posting anonymously? Your followers usually have some great suggestions 😊 Need help for my sleeping situation. Still breastfeeding my 21 month old on demand. We also co-sleep. Struggling because I need to start getting up at 5:30am to study for my medical exams. My daughter wakes every time I get out of bed (my husband leaves at this same time too). I feel that its because weve been co-sleeping with her that she doesnt know how to sleep on her own. She wants to nurse as soon as she discovers Ive left the bed and its making for some very unproductive mornings. Any ideas on what to do? I have read about transitioning her to her own room but that sounds like a heartbreaking process which I dont believe in (because I expect itd end in lots of tears). Any ideas? Tricks to help my LO sleep longer even though Im gone? Should I move her away from me all night so doesnt miss my body heat? Any ideas? Thanks so much in advance! Feeling very discouraged over here.
