mamnoon junoon is on for monday feb 2nd. many of you have responded to our last post asking how to help in direct ways. as a result we are focusing this junoon on raising funds for the Malki-SCM Children’s Center. The effort, founded by Seattle-based Salaam Cultural Museum, provides psychological support for traumatized Syrian refugee children in Jordan. The centers help the kids have some normalcy and gives them tools to manage the nightmare they live. We will give the net proceeds from the night to this effort. we need you to make it a huge night. Our famous Chelow Kebab will make a comeback as well as a special off-menu dessert. in addition we’ll have live classical Arabic Oud music courtesy of Stephen Elaimy, House of Tarab. please reserve and share, this will be a great way to enjoy a mamnoon feast while doing good.
