many years ago one of my hobbies was playing Role Playing Games ... the pen and paper kind like Dungeons And Dragons .... anywho ... back in 1989 Shadowrun began being played and it was science fantasy tabletop role-playing game set in a near-future fictional universe in which cybernetics, magic and fantasy creatures co-exist. It combines genres of cyberpunk, urban fantasy and crime, with occasional elements of conspiracy fiction, horror and detective fiction AND THEN in the early 1990s someone thought a live action filmed version of a short example of what a game could be like was a good idea ... well, if done correctly it would have been a great idea Fast forward to 2013 and an internet video game and film got hold of the video and commented on it at a convention in a sort of MST3K fashion spoonyexperiment/2013/06/28/sgc-2013-spoony-riffs-shadowrun-a-nights-work/ [I just viewed part of it and noted that the magic user put a guard to sleep and the party left him lying on the ground ... nah that wouldnt tip off anyone that their compound has been breached .. nah]
