me and connies evening was fun filled to say the least.ive had racoons comming into my house via my cat door, so ive set 2 live traps to get em. 2 weekends ago in the downpour i had one in each trap...yayyy! took em across a large creek let em go. i thought great no more eating and destroying everything in my place. well, went home last weekend, the kitchen had footprints everywhere, so i knew i had another. set the trap and went back up this evening and said to connie oh i think its a possum wrong. it was a huge white backed skunk. now what? she said here put these sweat clothes on i just held em up in front of me and he was patting his feet like they always do to warn ya, then turned around and sprayed...omg, it was like inhaling ammonia, but i still had to get him somewhere and let him outta the cage. thank mike for leaving a big peice of plastic up there so i draped it in front of me then over the cage, we drove him a few miles away, finally released the cage door and let him go. he was beautiful but boy did he stink...watched him go always across a field. so with skunk piss on my shoes and some on my pants, we still went to the diner for dinner and a couple stores, hope my smell didnt offend anyone. connie still cussing me because her truck stinks...
