me and courtney wrote this poem for our grandfather when he passed away and everything said in it is so so true about him! I think about you and your crazy self everyday old man but today its hittin me hard :( we love and miss you so much, rip❤️❤️❤️ they call me ol man Im short and Im stumpy, I nag and complain and sometimes get grumpy! but thats just the outside on the inside Im different, I have a heart of gold and would help you in an instant! I have lots of loved ones, kids grand kids and more, Im proud of my family who I absolutely adore. I also have a furry friend who goes by the name chief, when I go down bobs to visit I always bring him treats! I love my job at Hodgsons trucking it is my second home,they give me lots of love and care I never feel alone. after my hard days id go home to relax, flick on my three channels and crack a six pack! my passions are drawing and talking about the war, id get so excited but my grand kids thought it was a bore! my life was complete but then it got rough,I got some bad news but I remained tough! I was diagnosed with cancer and my big battle begun, it hit me hard but I fought back and survived with a partial lung! then I was told I had cancer again when I was only 64, they gave me two short years to live but I made it through that plus three more! i never stopped fighting as hard as it got, I was stubborn but strong until it hit my weak spot! no more pain or suffering I am finally free so remember the good times you all have with me! Ill always be with you, Im your ol man so whenever you need me just hold out your hand xoxox ❤️❤️❤️
