me: " hey guys later on do you want to go help the neighbors lay their grass?" kids: "SURE!!!......wait whats in it for me?" me: jaw dropped " whats in it for you ?!?!??!?! how about the nice feeling you get knowing you helped someone out....i mean really (as they eat fresh pancakes) i just made you all breakfast, and never once did i ask "whats in it for me", i just do it out of love....and for that matter......(longggg lecture followed)....) kids: looking at me like i just grew 2 heads...... me: " so if you never want to hear this lecture again, i strongly suggest you NEVER EVERRRRRR ask me "whats in it for me"
