mom had this crazy dream, probably cause she is killing the beeping smoke detectors and doesnt care if the house burns down. the dream was there was a fire downstairs and our exit plan is thru the front window, the neighbors were below helping us out so Mitra had to make a plan to evacuate us one by one. got Tammy on the roof and put kitty in a pillowcase and put the two doxies in another pillow case and handed them down to the neighbors, put them in the car mom yelled and tossed her keys down, move the car out of the driveway (so no thermal damage to the car) Mom was in a fire back in 2005 so she remembers and has experience with this. I am only 80 pounds but I am one heavy dog and Jasmine was too scared giving mom a hard time. Jazzy was in freak out, how to get her onto the roof? could only use what is in the office, the last room out, not running around the house trying to find stuff. The office has everything because its the craft room and linen closet too, wrapped Jazzys face so she could not see, she was fighting mom but got her wrapped tight in some sheets that she could not wail her paws as much, got her out the window, then once down the ladder a person helped her she got loose running all over like a crazy dog, so mom yelled down just open the hatch to the back of the car, she will run and jump inside. Make sure Tammy has a hold of kitty so she doesnt get out and the doxies are in the back or front seats. yep, Jazzy ran and jumped into the back of the car. now just mom and I left. I was standing on the roof like cool joe....I can jump this but mom kept telling me wait stay. she was not going to let me jump it knowing I would break my hip. there was the ladder from out neighbors, the muzzle hangs on the wall just next to the window, mom muzzles me for the way down the ladder, I may not like somebody holding me. but I did fine, waiting for mom who came down last. we were all out before the fire dept even got there. When mom woke up she remembered, the windows used to have a fire evacuation exit, with rope secured inside, back when mom was a rock climber. About 3 years ago the ropes were removed or something.... so today mom needs to secure both front and back windows in the event of a real fire and the pillowcases for the little ones wont work, need a zip duffle bag and kitty and doxies have to go in together and down the rope in one shot. the back window has no roof, Jasmine and I would be very difficult to get out. mom will have to make us doggie repelling harnesses for the back window or buy a couple from Ray Allen K9 gear. I know how to repel but Jazzy does not, I would keep my cool but Jazzy would freak. Tammy would probably freeze but mom would direct her what to do. although Tammy never rock climbed with mom, when Tammy still had some vision she would hold the ropes for mom so Tammy would remember if mom told her what to do. its all because back in the 2005 fire, moms apartment was not burned but she got out and helped rescue others who were in the fire, all the jumpers lived, 10 died. The fire of 2005 was before mom was in the army and trained as a medic she still jumped in as far as she could. All the neighbors helped. something has to be done about these smoke detectors beeping driving mom crazy. having 5 smoke detectors for 1200 square feet is a bit overkill, maybe 3 that if they could be plug in or somehow wired into the electricity of the house so that no more batteries are needed. the battery operated smoke detectors, all 5 of them will be getting the broomstick kill, except downstairs the ceilings are too high, about 12 feet the broomstick wont reach, upstairs the ceilings are lower. need a bee bee gun to shoot the beeping downstairs smoke detector.
