morning fb...Lets learn to ignore distractions and realize that we are all under constant construction. And when they raised their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only. Matthew 17:8. We should all know and realize that our own flaws can distract us from keeping our eyes on Jesus. Perhaps is we think too much about what is wrong with us, we can forget what God can do through us. Or we might look too much at what we think we lack and then forget to be thankful of what we have. The bible says to look away from all that will distract us from focusing on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2. If at times our faith tends to waver, quickly get our eyes back on Jesus, who is the known source of our faith and the Incentive for our belief. Never forget how He endured the cross and know that HE promises to bring our faith to maturity and perfection. Also know that we constantly undergoing construction...and that it is what it may feel like when God is at work in our lives. Throughout the Old Testament, God told His people to expect some major renovation on the road between Him and them (Isa. 62:10-11; Jer. 31:31). God is still at work replacing old ways of sin and legalism with the way of love that Jesus completed. When He removes our old ways of thinking and behaving, it may feel as if everything familiar is being destroyed. But God is not destroying anything; He is building a better way. And we can be confident that the end result will be smoother relationships with others and a closer relationship with Him. Free from the law—O happy condition! Jesus has bled, and there is remission; Cursed by the law and bruised by the fall, Grace has redeemed us once for all. —Bliss Upheaval often precedes spiritual progress.
