my dear sister Michela Griffin wrote this beautifully and I just had to share. Thank you Michela..... With purposing to have my quiet time with the Lord each morning, many things have been on my heart and mind lately. One of these things is the sanctity and fleetingness of life. We see all over the internet Bold Brittany who is taking her own life on November 1st since she has a terminal disease, then we have another dying woman who is writing Brittany on why she is waiting upon the Lord, then I get news of an amazing little 7th grader who was part of our homeschool group who took his own precious life Thursday, then I spent the evening at a 25 year fundraising banquet for the Ramona Pregnancy Care Clinic and listened to Jennifer ONeil cry over her aborted baby from over 40 years ago, and was introduced to two mamas who came to learn that their baby was not just a bundle of lifeless cells to suck out...but a perfectly made creation of Christ whom they now hold in their arms and treasure each and every day. My prayer is that everyone comes to see how precious each breath is. Dont take life for granted, or relationships. Dont take Christ for granted. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes unto the Father except by Him. Stop being lukewarm, or hoping your best is enough. If you were to die tonight, do you know where you would be going? If youre not sure...e to Jesus. We can be certain in Christ that we dont need to be good enough, because we know we arent, but Jesus is. This is why he died for us, to pay for our sin. Past, present and future. You dont have to doubt, or fear. You can be certain in Christ. Romans 10:9-11 If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are put right with God, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
