ncaa/interactive-bracket/soccer-men/d1 Mens NCAA D1 Soccer tournament is down to 16 teams. 4 of those are Pac-12 teams. However, only 5 of the 12 Pac-12 Universities have Mens Soccer programs. Take nothing away from the great things that Title IV did for women and womens sports, but its time to update the 30+ year old documents and allow Universities to adopt Mens Soccer. Same could be said for SEC and their lack of Mens Soccer programs. Both conferences have amazing womens programs top to bottom. Then, make D1 a 64 team tournament. Whats the point of 16 teams receiving a bye? Let the kids play.
