nearly hit a full rear bumber bar on the pacific hwy earlier today. so did everyone else. ok ill do the right thing as no one else was. so i pull over, walk the 200 metres back, and when only 2 metres away, a police car pulls up with its lights on, so i pick up the bumber bar off the middle of the lane, and throw it away in the clear, High way all cleared up. i start waling back and next minute... sir licence and.... wait a minute, that was not mine, see that ute 200 metres in front of you, and i point to my ute. that;s my car, and i nearly hit that bumber bar, so i walked back and cleared the highway. i dont think he believed me, so i said. do you see that my bumber is still attached, and my ute has its full cover on at the back, so where could i have even stored it? so i just carried on walking straight past him, and into my car. then i was stuck and both myself and the police car behind me could not get back into the high way due to no one giving us a chance, next minute full lights and siren on, the police car pulls out just enough to let me get back on the highway. Not so sure if i would ever stop and clear the high way again, nearly got a fine for it....
