Police were called to a sports bar where Boyett was accused of harassing other patrons and refusing to pay his bar tab. Police put Boyett in a cab and sent him home, but minutes later answered a distress call from the cabbie. Boyett is accused of punching the cab driver in the head, then threatening him with a shovel he stole from a construction site. When he knew the game was up, Boyett unsuccessfully tried to evade arrest by burying himself in a pile of mulch. In his muppet encore, Police said they had difficulty reading Boyett his rights because Boyett kept yelling out Call my Boss John Elway who subsequently fired him. This ended Boyetts second chance in the NFL after he was sacked by the Colts in 2013..... After being arrested for drunken behaviour and resisting arrest..... - Carnster
