Pardon me if this sounds blunt. I believed congress 20 years ago when they said they would build 2000 miles of FENCE on our border. Not a "Virtual fence" a chain link and steel fence patrolled by armed, motivated, and supported Border Agents. They lied....no fence. Build the fence first. In the mean time, hold for 6 months any illegal alien caught by ANY agency, subject them to trial, then deport them. Holding them 6 months takes the cash out of the pipeline, and will slow the flow of border runners.
