odays Prayer - Sabbath January 18, 2014 Creator God, and everlasting Father, this week we continue to marvel at your wondrous works, Your wisdom, Your power and majesty. Thank You for taking us through the perils, minor challenges and discomforts of the week and for blessing us with grateful hearts and words to echo Your praise for victories won. As we look around, even amid scenes that are not pleasant to the eyes, we see so much to be thankful for. So as we come apart in these hours, set aside and dedicated, we thank You for thinking about us even when we were not thinking about You. Continue to bless Your people everywhere. Help us to share the blessings particularly with those who need to know that You are the Giver of life and Saviour of the world. May every trumpet in Your camp give that certain sound, spreading the undiluted truth of the gospel of salvation. Help us to hasten while probation’s door is wide open, and to compel those caught up with the cares of the world to accept Your invitation before it is too late. Grant us the cleansing and the forgiveness that we so badly need. Help us to keep the hope of Your soon-coming alive in our hearts, in Jesus’ name. Amen.~ R.b. Seivwright ( Lives in Jamaica)
