oh my gosh, My resident didnt show up at the clinic tonight..5:45 I paged him and he said…well, I am at Womack with a continuing patient who is going to give birth,..I said…OK, I suggest you find you some duct tape and make one continuous wrap around her knees and get your butt on down the road…well, I got on the phone and called Dr. Izurieta and he said he would be right over…Bless his heart…..I swear, 20 minutes later that resident showed up with his rucksack on his back and he said reporting to duty, maam….I said, drop it and give me 50..and he dropped that ruck sack and hit floor…he was laughing and I laughing…we all were laughing and I said get to work I wanna go home and you have a baby to deliver…he said..she will be all right…I wrapped that duct pretty tight!…true story…happened tonight…and all is well…. lololol and that is my Veterans Day story….Love me some soldiers!!!
