ok. I bought a 2005 scion xb, and the stereo is wonderful (Pioneer). I do not want to buy the xm stereo subscription, and from what Im reading, the only mp3 option is an Ipod. I have a RCA mp3 player. So i need to burn cd discs. I have a windows 7 desktop, and a windows 8 laptop. Due to my painful lack in tech knowledge, I ask for help on this one. I believe that the only way i can convert mp3 files to a cd is to buy a rewrite program (cant remember the name). Also, I dont think my desk top has a cd burner program, so i downloaded a free version on line. so far, no luck. when i go to browse and save files to the free burner library, it says high quality audio files only. no idea what to do. I think my windows 8 laptop has the windows media player, which should have burner. so i emailed my audio files to myself, and am wondering if that will work. any advice?
