ok... I have another funny and precious from my grandson... this morning before school.. as we began devotion ... I always go through ahead of time each morning and jot down words that I think Logan may not know the meaning to and briefly cover each one with him before we start so that when the passage is read he can comprehend visually what it means... This mornings words were.. (defiled, orphan, widow.. etc... ) When we came to the word (widow)... I said do you know what a widow is...? He said.. Oh yes, its one of those women who kill their husbands and get money for it!... hahaha.... talk about a wake up call!! I said have mercy!!! thank you Lord that I did not assume he knew that one!!! .... had no idea that would be his response!!! ..... I answered softly... oh.. I think you are talking about a black widow... which is a slang term used for wicked, greedy women... (on the inside I was cracking up)!! ... ... I know this was one of the times he really absorbed the moments we had... He immediately named 3 women on our street that he loves who are widows.... (James 1:27 Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.)... Is this precious or what!!! time to crow!!!
