ok.. i was vegan for many years.. and then veggie.. & i went back to meat... i do wish i could sustain being veggie, but cant afford it right now as it costs a lot to keep up protein etc the veggie way & i eat whatever comes my way on valuepack right now.... but you can choose to avoid farms that involve themselves in this kind of legal torture.. there are people out there who believe it is better for cows to be locked inside on concrete 24/7 than on grass... .....but most farmers i know are like my own dad & very kind.. mind u my dear old late dad became veggie for the last year of his life, then he had been forced to see farming at its cruelest at that point too & it upset him greatly.. but he told me how he was sent by someone who was forcing him to kill an old chicken he didnt want to & the bird actually spoke to him & said: you dont have to do this - you can put down the knife & walk away.. the bird told daddy that we are all friends & here to help each other & that the bird had as much right to life as him... so daddy put down the knife & walked away.. i was veggie with dad for those last couple of months of his life & it was amazing not least because we had a super giggle about how he used to sneak bits of bacon into my food when i was veggie years before.. funny how things turn out he said... i love you dad... every time i think of you now you make me smile just as much as you did in this life... give mum a hug & tell her i thought of you both on your wedding anniversary yesterday... myself & charlotte miss you both so much....i love you too mother very much xxx
