ok, seriously I thought I wanted one or a few people to see this, but actually I have been through this my whole life, and this beautiful black woman explains it perfectly for you lame-brains.. THERES NO SUCH THING AS TALKING WHITE and if most people had such a grasp on their native language and grammar, they would be able to see that what they say doesnt even make sense. For a while as a kid, I thought that I would grow up hating myself because I wasnt fully accepted, because I possessed the reading level of a 6th grader as a kindergartener, because I didnt like to wear Jordans, because I played nerdy video games and read comics and other fiction, and because i wasnt trying to bang sets or claim colors, which everyone knew and I did not deny. As I got older I realized that life is so much harder for people that dont understand whats coming from someones mouth and then trying to joke it off as if it isnt cool to be smart and formulate, or to be able to formulate actual words from a shared english language. I guarantee that my life as far as stable income, opportunities, and richer experiences, has been setup immensely in my favor just for always remembering that education comes first.
