ok, so anyone who doesnt know, this is whats been happening. kinda a long story... My mom, Anna Marie Spears Bradford, and her sister Daline were seperated about 47 years ago. There was a bunch of stuff that happened-not involving them together- and circumstances seperated them. Mom looked for Daline off and on for years, and never found her. There were clues but nothing led to HER. So, about a month ago I went to ancestry dot com, and made a small family tree. I looked around for Dalines name ( Norma Daline Spears) and found a couple of people looking for info about her. One of them was her daughter, Kathe Carter. I knew a couple of names associated with Daline, and one was a daughter Kathe. I also found the names of a couple other people, Josh Faber-Smith (who turned out to be her son) and Jean George ( who is her granddaughter). so i came here to facebook and started with Kathes name. I found her, and josh and Jean were both related to her! so I msgd them and sent friend requests to them and a couple other family members. Well they had no idea who I was so they all just ignored me. (cant blame them we all do that) Oct. 12 my mom came over and wanted to try to contact them one more time. We edited her name here to include her middle and maiden names, then sent out msgs and friend requests. Oct. 13 I got up and immediately got online to check FB, and there was a response!!!! Peg Hankins, Dalines oldest daughter msgd back!!! We have connected with all 5 of Dalines children, Peg, Kathe, Patti, Josh and Symon (we didnt even know the boys existed), and their (grand total of) 15 kids, and 1 granddaughter!! We have all been chatting, trying to get to know each other since. oh, we didnt know about the boys; none of them even knew Daline had siblings, let alone nieces! talk about a shock!! We discovered that Daline passed away a few years ago. Oct 12. was her birthday. Last Tuesday one of the kids Hope True came to town!!! She could only stay for a day and a half, but we spent almost the entire time together! She is a wonderful girl! And we hit it off immediately. She and my niece Sarah Glass became fast friends, and look forward to spending much more time together soon. I cant wait to meet more of the family in person! Did I forget anything?
