ok so here is my past oh.....18 hours. Working third shift this week. Gretchen works Thursday nights, so I have to ride the bicycle to work, no biggie, until I unlock the bike and it starts to rain. So I go back in the house to get a wind breaker to try to keep dry on the ride to work. I look to the heavens and say out loud...seriously? You cant hold this off for oh 30 minutes? Low and behold IT STOPS RAINING, until I reach work. BUT before I reach work I crash on the bicycle, yes grown man on a paved road, dumps his bike. But Wait there was a reason.... As I am riding down the road to work, that basically cuts down the middle of a marsh...BATS LOTS OF BATS, HUNGRY BATS, chasing all the flying insects. I ducked one that buzzed me, BUT...The second one flew and hit me square in the forehead, took the hat off my head, took me off the bike, screaming like a little girl, employees a 1/4 mile away heard me, and in turn I heard about aaallllllll night. But wait we arent done yet, because when I went to pick up my hat, yup the bat....was still in the hat, nearly shit myself. Train wreck all night, laughing about it as well, but nearly put the little bastard on my head. then my trip to Shaws, with no wallet, and needing to back to work at 3pm, yeah rough day.
