ok..so here it goes...I was given a few numbers so I am going with 12. 1. I have loved animals since I was a child, before I could walk..PARENTS..horses and dolphins are NOT a phase that we grow out of..its in our blood so you may as well get the pony! 2. I am a tough person on the outside but on the inside I am easily hurt. I just choose not to wear it. 3. I am married to my best friend.. who also was a jockey and is 2 inches shorter than me. 4. I come from a very close family...I talk to my mother every day, sometimes more then once. 5. I used to write my parents I wont love you notes when I was a kid to try and persuade them to buy me a horse..see number 1 (something worked as I got my first horse at 12) 6. One of my dreams was to ride on the United States Olympic team. Im hoping its not to late. (lol) 7.I am WAY too nice sometimes, especially when I need to be more assertive. 8. I have trained many different animals. This includes dogs,birds,dolphins, seals and horses. When I was a child, I used to make my Sheltie Foxy jump whatever I could find because I loved to jump horses (still do!). Foxy was my best friend when I was growing up. I had him from when I was 10 to 25. He knows all my secrets and it was still one of the most devastating days of my life when he passed away. 9. I started teaching group fitness in 2006. It actually started as my way to get out of the house and work out..otherwise I could never get to the gym. If I had to work then I had to be at the gym! Being a fitness instructor has proven to be more then a way out of the house..I have found much joy in helping people succeed in their fitness goals and the front row peeps that have turned instructor because they were motivated in my class! Changing lives is quite rewarding 10. I always wanted a boy and a girl..I have them in that order! Love my kiddos. 11. I paid for my college as I went..I worked full time galloping horses at the race track and volunteered at the Aquarium for 5 years. Once I took my internship I volunteered with the dolphins and seals..It was then that I found I was a strong narrator and public speaking in front of 1500 people was no big deal! 12. I am named after my grandmother (who is turning 94 this year). She is by far one of my favorite people.
