ok so just a little Upstate SC football note in Region 1 3A its clear who will make the playoffs and who wont. The haves are Wren, Daniel, Seneca, and BHP the have nots are Pickens, Palemtto, West Oak and Walhalla. whats not clear is how those 4 that are in will finish. Wren is undefeated overall and has a 1 game lead on Seneca, Daniel and BHP who are tied for 2nd with one loss in league (1 total loss for Daniel and Seneca bpth lost to Wren) BHP lost to Daniel. So here is who has what left. Wren has in order vs Walhalla, vs BHP and @palmetto Seneca has @BHP, @West Oak and vs Daniel. Daniel has @pickens, vs Walhalla and @Seneca. BHP has vs Seneca, @Wren and vs Pickens. This weeks Seneca @ BHP game is huge. Cause Daniel will beat Pickens so the winner of BHP/Seneca will remain in a 2nd place tie with Daniel for this week. If Seneca can knock off BHP and then Wren handle business vs BHP and Daniel will beat Pickens and Walhalla. Then Seneca vs Daniel for 2nd place final week of the regular season. Dang I aint gonna be able to make it back quite in time. a game with riding on it is the type of thing that will bring the Battle of 123 as I coined it years ago, back to what it was in the 90s. 2nd place is a big deal because you get 1st round home field in playoffs. I will be bk for 1st round of the playoffs and if Seneca is at home then I am going to Senecas game. Why you ask? well I am Oconee County guy and Seneca is not only in county but also has shown me love over the years. So I will go and pull for them in playoffs. Just an FYI the top 4 from Region 2 3a is who the top 4 froM Region plays the top 4 in Region 2 right now is #1 Greer, Emerald, Blue Ridge and Chapman all tied for 2nd. If youre Seneca you dont want to lose 2 of the last 3 and prolly drop to 4th cause then you have to go @Greer in 1st round.
