ok so my last (and first) project was star wars. Twilek to be exact. usually in the movies and etc they are slaves but i decided to be a jedi twilek. the most difficult part of this cosplay was the head tails or lekku. i was lucky enough to find this project by someone who has tried a few different ways to approach making them. completewermosguide/lekku.html idealisticly i could have made them from latex for a more natural look but it is difficult to make and heavy to wear. in the end i made mine out of fabric and stuffing. in the original post she made hers with wire inside but i left it out so that the looked more natural when i moved. the good thing about the Twilek is that they have many subspecies so i was free to choose skin colour and tail length (in the end i chose egg shell blue) but the not so fun bit was the full body paint (awful for this weather)
