ok this is a post that was on YELP it happend yesterday and because they still wont correct the problem Im going to post their name, phone # and address and tell everyone to pass it on and stay away from this place. Oriental Buffet & Grill, 3501 Palmer Hwy, Texas City, TX 77590 their phone number is 409-945-3934 -- DO NOT EAT their food!! It could kill you. We went there on Christmas day. My daughter noticed their crab salad had gone bad and let the people know about it. My son had gotten some fish that had lots of cheese on it and tasted it then asked his sister to check it because it didnt taste right. Now mind you they have had these dishes at this location before with no issues. My daughter smelled it and said it smelled off. She then went to let the manager know. The manager said no one else had complained but her and that my daughter did not know what she was talking about. She even came over to our table to tell my daughter that she didnt know what she was talking about. I told her that my daughter knows her fish and that we defer to her on that issue. The manager kept insisting my daughter was wrong. My daughter paid the bill and we left not having really had a chance to eat. They charged full price. The only reason my daughter paid the bill was so that the waitress would not have it taken out of their check. The waitress did nothing wrong it was the Manager (or someone who played the manager) who handled this is the most rude way and on Christmas of all things. All the manager had to do was quit telling her that she was completely wrong and when told this she kept it up instead of letting it go which made my daughter even madder. That manager has no people skills and should not be in that position. Because of this my daughter will not be back to this location. I have tried to contact the manager or Owner today and for some reason they are not in and it is almost 11a. Finally got in touch with the manage and they still wont make it right. I dont like that kinda of buffet anyway but my daughter does. DO NOT EAT!!
