ok while this can happen to a bike rider going the speed limit, I have noticed a TON of bike riders do stupid crazy unsafe things on the road, drive between two cars, speeding, swerving back and forth between lanes almost non stop. Cars AND motorcyclists need to be aware and follow the rules of the road. The driver of the bike should not have been going 85. And what tells me they were speeding is the fact that the VW was pulling out from a side street, roads with high speed limits are accessable by on ramps to allow drivers to gain speeds, no side roads.
