okay i know i said that i am going to post everything this week in Cook Islands Maori but i needed this to be said in English for the Cook Islands NON speaking people to read. Today i went to Tangaroa College to assist the teacher in teaching the Cook Islands Language to the students who takes the subject. HOW ABOUT i was so disgusted with the numbers of students. Let me put the statistics out there, Tangaroa College Ethnicity; 1st Samoans first, 2nd COOK ISLANDS, 3rd Tongans and so on. Out of the 249 students who are COOK ISLAND students at Tangaroa College THREE students takes the paper. Come on parents, come on young people. our language is dying make an effort to at least learn how to say Kia Orana and pronounce it properly!
