okay. the armadillo christmas bizarre and hat tricks gigs were whoop dee dos. matt hillyer and gus samuelson were great, just killer as the kids say and guthrie kennard snuck in and got up and sang his song cat fishing and we all got greasily funkified. thanks to all who came out.. if you looking for a last minute gift for a songwriter id recommend sylvie simmons book im your man..for a guitar/old tube amp cat-since you got to order it and it might take awhile- a gift certificate for the brown box..any bottleneck players you know would probably like the rock slide but they are particular cats and would want to pick out their size so i guess i aint much help there.. now this next few days can get crazy out there so i try to look at it as an opportunity to learn patience..not the guns&roses song, just not letting the crowds and traffic frenzy mess up my head. got to stay level. even keeled. smooth, even while driving on I35.. hope everyone has a safe holiday and just to change things up, maybe leave santa a granola bar and a topo chico this year... yours truly, rwh
