...okay, upon further review, on the Dez Bryant catch (and yes, after 24 hours I believe it was a catch, after initially thinking it was the right call by the replay officials) all I can say is, he had control of the ball in bounds, feet down, and was not going to the ground until after he had control of it and THEN made contact with the defender. After studying the replay, it appears he probably would have kept his feet if not for the contact, again, AFTER he had control of the ball. Granted, it all takes place in a split second, but regardless it is not conclusive on the replay, and therefore the ruling on the field should NOT have been overturned. Now having said that, this play did not necessarily cost Dallas the game. Assuming that Dallas scored a touchdown on the ensuing set of downs, which is not a given, Green Bay would have gotten the ball back with at least three minutes needing only a field goal to tie or win, so who knows how the game might have ended. To be honest, if I could have any one play back from yesterday, I might prefer to have the Murray fumble erased, or the Green Bay fumbled kickoff return recovered by Dallas, which it very nearly was. Anyway, I believe the ruling on the field should have been confirmed, for what its worth. If nothing else, it would have added to the drama!
