olidarity at the Central Mosque, Support anti-racism -Tuesday 2nd July 6.30 pm The racist SDL intend to protest against our UAF anti-racism public meeting at Edinburgh Central Mosque on Tuesday 2nd of July at 7 pm. The meeting will be paneled by civic and faith leaders and a prominent trade unionist to talk about how we unite our communities after the appalling hate crimes that have followed the brutal murder of a young soldier in Woolwich. The meeting is open to all the cultures, faiths and people in Edinburgh that seek to unite our communities and workplaces against racism and fascism. UAF will not allow our public meeting to be disrupted by racists and fascists. We need to show in numbers that we do not accept the hatred and actions peddled by racist organizations like the SDL, EDL and Nazi BNP. We therefore ask people in Edinburgh to show solidarity with the Mosque and stand with the Muslim community by coming to Edinburgh Central Mosque at 6.30 pm on Tuesday 2nd July to show unity and support for anti-racism. The meeting will start at 7 pm. We take security of participants at our events extremely seriously. We will be having robust security at our meeting.
