one break time during bible conference, some pastors were talking about their favorite bible translation, one said, i love the king james version, its one of those that really resembles the real early bible the other one said, didnt you know that the new american standard bible (nasb) is now the new closest one? your not just late during the conference and now even in those informations you are late? the pastors laughed so they didnt noticed they were able to offend the 1st one to offer an answer, the conversation continued and some said that they love using nic some asv some esv and other translations as it made things easier for them, until one very young pastor said, i love my moms translation, it made me a lot easier to understand what the bible means the pastors were amazed but because of his age, most of them just looked down on him and said, we never knew your mom made a translation, tell us what is it so we can read, when the young pastor opened his mouth, no one again was able to say anything... he said my mom translated the bible into her life, thats why i can easily understand verses that is too hard for me to grasp..... fellow believers , i believe that wanting to know much is not a problem, but it becomes one if u always want to KNOW more than LEARN them, my mentors told me that knowing something is not just enough, you must apply them!!! its called learning, knowing and learning are 2 different things, you cant just say u learn one thing if u only know how to do it, and never did it even once, you must have done it and continue doing it for you to say youve learned, THE BIBLE WAS MEANT TO TRANSFORM, NOT JUST TO INFORM, we always claim Gods promises than claim his commnandments cause its easier for us to just allow God do His part, while we always forgot that God originally wants us to be holy 1 peter 1:16 be holy for I am holy we always says God is love so there are times we deliberately sin, we intentionally allow sin to eat us, cause we know God will forgive us, brothers and sisters, how can we win souls for God if we use it to hurt others? i tell you the truth, before someone would listen to you, they will first examine your life if you are worthy of their trust!!! be a doer of the word of God, not just a listener!!! --THE BIBLE WAS MEANT TO TRANSFORM NOT JUST INFORM -- NO ONE WILL LISTEN TO YOU UNLESS THEY CAN SEE YOU CAN DO IT -- james 1:23-24 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
