...one of my favorite classic pop songs doesnt so much take one on a journey, so to speak, than more relate an experience...tell a compelling & emotionally wretching story...in this case, a story about love, misunderstanding, sacrifice & opportunity lost, despite a continued vestige of passion & longing. For myself, I have never experienced the sense of longing and loss, as the hapless storyteller in the rock group Ambrosias classic love-lorn tragedy, How Much I Feel; however, I dare anyone to sing along with the lyrics of the song, & NOT get the chills, and get misty-eyed...almost to the point of cracking the voice & breaking down. In all honesty, having always emotionally invested in this piece when I hear it, I do that very thing...each & every time I try to sing along...
