one of the options that we have for somewhere to live after we get married is with missys grandmother. she wants to convert the 2nd floor of her house into an apartment for us. it would be 3 rooms and a full bathroom. 1 room would be our bedroom, one a living room, and 1 an office / mini kitchen. shes in her 80s and her doctor said that it would be better for her to have someone living with her. we would be giving up some independence during the 1st year were married, but it would be for a good reason. id like to know what anyone thinks about doing this over moving into an apartment. ultimately the decision belongs to us, but i want to know what everyone thinks the drawbacks / good things would be.
