one year and nine months ago today I made a decision that would change my life. It wasnt much of a decision, more like a necessity. And it wasnt a fun or easy decision to make. How my life changed 1.75 yrs ago is pretty irrelevant. The point is that we, as people have the unique ability to change our own destinies, for lack of a better word. We have the power to learn, adapt, grow, if necessary dump the garbage. That is what I am thankful for today and for this whole month of thanks. I dont buy that bullshit that people dont change. Ive seen too many people make too many significant improvements to be fooled by that pessimism. What I know is my life is awesome today. I look back at my own personal turning point and wish I had flipped the switch years earlier. Just as important as the change is the no looking back clause. Ive got 2 feet firmly planted in today and that feels good because with all the wind, snow, and generally depressing weather, even today is a day when I want to be exactly where, who, how I am. Dear friends and random webcam girls that occasionally send me friend requests, I pray you all find joy and peace.
