#opinion: i think it will be faulty by the government of uganda and international community to allow conviction of ongwen, a man who seems not even to know the reason why he is at the hague. no wonder in his first words, he thanked God for all people and living things. its just like getting a fish out of water alive and put it on dry land, it doesnt only look confused but it behaves surprised. ongwen stated that i was told am here because of my crimes and was talking freely. clearly, that man did not know what he was doing. he killed because he thought that was the right thing to do out of innocence and may be lack of options. we should forgive the man and take him to a rehabilitation centre and give him another chance to live a responsible life. he should just be forced to help locate his boss. after all, much as we agonise the people he killed or caused to be killed, we know we cant have them back.#forgiveongwen
