our sincerest thank you to Dawn Elliott Wetzel, for stepping up in a huge way by fostering a pregnant pitbull, sight unseen. not only did dawn step up, she lives 10 hours away, and drove halfway to pick the dog up.... and on top of all of that, the mama had her first puppy in the car an hour away from dawns home...keep calm and floor it.........so dawn and mama and baby number 1 made it home, and 6 more brothers and sisters made their way into the world in dawns bedroom. their mom had been scheduled for euthanasia the day we pulled her from the pound, her pups were born a few days later. mama is a baby herself, and pretty much gave dawn a run for her money, but dawn is an all in type of person, and 3 weeks later, pups are all healthy, and mama is feeling much better about the world because of dawn...........TODAY WE ARE THANKFUL FOR DAWN
