people are clamoring for a change in the Honor System, nobody - TopicsExpress

people are clamoring for a change in the Honor System, nobody recommends anything what that change should be. For info, the system is the simpliest there is that the set rules are written on a pamphlet which is guided by two simple questions (do I intend do decieve? and do I intend to take undue advantage?). If found guilty, the violator shall then have a choice to stay as a cadet (and hopefully graduate) and suffer ostracism or resign honorably. If I can remember it right, the reported cadet can be given suficient time (to strenghten his argument) if he requested for it but is not allowed any other trial once a verdict has been rendered. The casting of vote (oftentimes) goes through a very lenghty discussion, each member is allowed to justify his initial decision. In this stage, I assume, is where that alleged chambering happens (whatever that means). But after the final votes are cast, the cadet corps will be informed if a violator choses to stay, if he resigned, a total silence shall prevail to protect the dignity of the violator. Please notice that in all levels /stages of the system, everything is centered on cadets and devoid of any intervention, except for some admin support. No PMA leadership nor AFPs. Now if anyone really wanted to help with any recommendation of systemic change.. kindly be specific and please avoid unfounded accusations
